I am trying to spend the last little bit of card money i have before Vandy takes it away as one final parting gift to reward me for graduating. I have always had a serious love-hate thing going on with THE CARD. It is evil and everything i could buy with it was obnoxiously overpriced: marlboro lights- $5.12 per pack !!!! BUt it was always so comforting because i avoided using it and then when i completely ran out of real money i always knew i could walk to Vandy and buy a bagel and a pack of cigs, deoderant . . .the basics. But no more. I actually feel like i'm losing some sort of security net. Maybe i should get a job. ;P |

I graduate this friday! It became definate as of today, well yesterday now i guess, when grades were posted. I did not have any real doubts about passing my classes, but it was finally officially confirmed. I am actually quite irritated becaue i thought i was gonna have straight A's for the semester, but in fact, i got one B+. so close and yet so far away. *sigh* It's not like i can complain. I'm gonna be a fucking college grad, from Vanderbilt no less. Oo i'm so cool! lol. Well i don't mean to be cocky, but i cant think of anyone else i'd rather be. If i wasnt me, i'd want to be dating me. Haha! jk. But seriously. I have a college degree from a very nice school. I am smart and fucking hot ( i dont "say so myself", but rather "so i'm told"). My BF loves me. We have a lovely house and a beautiful dog. I want so0 bad to go on a self-praise binge. Must resist . . . .so difficult . . am . .so awesome . . .
Ok i'm done. Im gonna go gaze at my reflection now and look at my resune or something obnoxious. :P |

I love tommy so so much. He is so amazing to me. And such a wonderful person. He works himself to death to take care of me and to be the primary breadwinner for our little family. And yet he still has the time to do little thigs for me. He knows all the little things that matter to me. What boy actually writes love notes? What a sweetheart. And he is so appreciative of everthing i do even though i really mostly sit on the couch in my undies watching Springer! He loves my cooking! Its so inspiring. Sometimes the whole marriage thing is kinda intimidating. But really i think i can actually pull this off! |

We are "having exams" at vandy. this is awesome. as of right now i only have one exam left next wednesday. Its an in class essay. seriously i am so relaxed about graduation. finally i am pretty sure its actually gonna happen. the releif is so intense it is nearly indescribable. the relife is to the point that it overrides any anxiety i might theoretically have about not havin any future plans career wise. It is amazing. its like freakin euphoria!! oh god vandy i will have won you sonofabitch. hahah VICTORY IS MINE!!!wel soon anyway. |

Hello all,
I graduate in less than one month. May 12th (Friday) so very soon. I would say ya'll have no idea how glad i am about this, but if you know me, then you probably know exactly how glad i am to be done with Vandy!!
My darling and i just had our one year anniversary. And, little Gwen just turned one year old. In the last few months the house on Villa has really started to look and feel like an actual home. Curtains, furniture, etc. its all starting to come together. The domesticity is also more satisfying then i would have ever expected. Tommy is working at UPS now and i may get a job with him there as well after graduation. who would have thought that there was not a lot of demand for people who studied 19th century french lit? who cares!! for the first time since i can remember clearly i will not be in school. hallelujah praise geesus!! all is well with the world |

Ok quick rundown on my life of late:
Currently living with my boy Tommy and the puppy, Gwen on Villa Pl.
He and i got engaged a few weeks ago. No date set, but wearing the ring until we both finish
school and have the beginings of careers.
I am not going to prison, recent run in with cops turned out ok. Everything dropped, clean
record.
Senior year at Vandy going well so far. Tommy is working and letting me finish up and play home-
maker. We will switch off when i graduate in all likelyhood. |
